My name is Ilissa and my mission is to help you live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
My personal journey into the world of fitness began back in college when I became 40 pounds overweight as a result of poor eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle. I, like so many people today, was in a rut and unable to lose weight and get in shape. With each failed attempt I became more and more determined to learn everything I needed to know to get healthy. I desperately wanted to get fit! I started out by simply trying to make small adjustments to my diet, but ultimately it was not until I started to get active and include exercise in my life that I really began to see the changes I was hoping for.
Since those days back in college I have tried many different exercise programs and now have a wealth of experience to share. I am truly enjoying the benefits of living a
healthy and active life. My passion and dedication to fitness inspired me to become an AFAA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer so I can inspire and help others
achieve their personal goals.
As a busy mother of two I know how difficult it can be to balance time for your family and yourself. It is my goal to share my success with as many people as possible so you too can find balance in your life and accomplish your personal health and fitness goals.

You get an excellent workout in her bootcamp classes, which incorporate TRX, cardio, toning and strengthening. Absolutely love her positive attitude and personality. Ilissa also shows you modifications depending on your fitness level. If needed, she will suggest different exercises in order to either keep it low or bump it up. It's a class for everyone who wants to get into shape as well as those who are in a good shape and want to take it further. I love the fact that she emphasizes on good form and posture a lot throughout her classes since this is often overlooked in other bootcamps and can easily lead to injuries.
